We’ve heard it since we were children, ‘Conflict is inevitable.’ We grow up expecting that, and depending on our personalities may either try to avoid conflict altogether, seek positive ways for dealing with it, or be prepared to go after it full throttle. However, when you are in management, you need to be prepared to manage conflict successfully, and one of those methods is to avoid it. As managers we can be aware of things we can do that will minimize or avoid conflict, and this podcast explains several.
