Your Inner Journey to Great Leadership

All the things you will do as a leader are mostly based on what you believe you can do, your belief that you can actually make a difference, and that people need to listen to what you have to say and do what you want them to do.

While it is easy to believe that your ideas are the best, you also need to consider what the impact of this would be to others.  So in order to lead others, you must first lead yourself in making sure that you are the best leader that you can be.

It is an Inner Quest.

You need to first discover who you are and what you believe in.  Not knowing what you want to achieve will mostly lead to a vague plan, and you do not want to string people along with you when your vision is blurred.

Second, you need to know what your strengths and weaknesses are.  No leader can be perfect but true leaders have learned to treat their weakness with more awareness, thus the ability to make sure that it wouldn’t affect their leadership in any adverse manner.

Third, and only when you have learned who you are, you would need self-mastery.  In the process of knowing and developing yourself, you also develop your skills for leadership.
