Recently I visited an organization where all of the people on a particular team looked alike. They dressed the same, wore a similar hair style and had a similar demeanor. How does that happen? When we hire people because, “I really liked that person!” problems can ensue. They tend to be groups of people with the same strengths and weaknesses, and that doesn’t lead to success and goal achievement. Teams need varied strengths, weaknesses, ideas and opinions.
